At Health Care Cafe, we believe you and your loved ones should maintain independence, well-being and dignity through to the later years in life. We are aware of the barriers that individuals and families face when trying to access care and support. Navigating social care can feel like a complex maze, and our aim is to support you in accessing the right services for your personal situations.

As circumstances change for you the activities of daily living can become increasingly difficult.  This may be due to an accident at home, such as a fall. It may be due to the escalation of a long term injury, or even surgery at hospital.

This service was developed to empower service users, to advocate, and to offer detailed information and advice on each individual concern that you may be faced with.

Health Care Cafe provides a range of services tailored to your individual circumstances. With over 30 years of experience in Social Care, we are committed to bridging the gap between service providers and those in need of care and support.

Our team will provide comprehensive information and advice about care and support in your local area, across the private, voluntary, and public sectors. We are independent and unbiased, our aim is to help you determine the best choices and outcomes  for you and your family.

Innovative

Our service is the first of its kind.

The service was created out of a desire to share information and advice with those most in need of care and support. At Health Care Café we wanted to offer a service that would break through the barriers to accessing care and support.

There are many sources of information and advice available online, but this is the only service of its kind, supporting those with health concerns to contact professional services offering support with Referrals, Advocacy, and case management. Writing a referral can be a long and complex task, understanding what has been explained to you under the Care Act can be extremely confusing. Having experienced this first hand CEO, Jacqueline Keiza, created a brand new service.

A service bridging the gap between service providers and those in need of care and support.
