About me
Jacqueline has worked extensively in social care across a range of roles in both the private and public sectors. Jacqueline trained as a Person Centred Counsellor and has over 35 years experience in Mental Health, Physical Disability, Children and Adults, Residential Care and Housing, Domestic Violence, Trauma and Recovery at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, NHS care and support, Aids and Adaptations, CQC, Social Services and the Care Act.
One of her most rewarding roles was with Westminster City Council, Adult Social Services, Older Adults Team, Westminster City Hall, Victoria Street, London.
Here she worked in partnership with the NHS for 10 years. Whilst at Westminster she trained as a Trusted Independent Living Assessor at the Disability Living Foundation based at Clapham Junction, London.
From her first volunteering experience in The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea aged 15, through to managerial roles at Westminster City Council and Kensington & Chelsea Borough Council, she has a life-long commitment to advocating for vulnerable adults, children, carers, and families.
