Support with benefits after Covid 19

Rosanna worked full time until she caught COVID-19. Rosanna became unwell with Long Covid, she was so unwell she could not return to work. Rosanna contacted us for support as her salary from work had fallen extremely low, as she had been off sick for many months, she was in the final third stage of her sickness policy, work had begun processes to dismiss her.
And she could no longer afford her rent and council tax bills, we applied for benefits for her,  she was eligible for universal credit, and she was eligible for council tax reduction, she was also eligible for PIP. We also supported her to access guidance from an advocate specialising in employment issues.
She remains off work due to Long Covid, but is managing well financially with support from Personal Independence Payment ( PIP ), Universal Credit, and Housing Benefit.
